"I really did enjoy using it to make..."
I really did enjoy using it to make books with my class, and the kids liked seeing their work come together. But the price started to feel a little hard to justify for how much we actually use it. There are some good features, sure, but not enough that I felt great about paying that much. At one point it almost felt like begging for a more reasonable option, which made me kind of resentful because I do like the tool. A cheaper plan would make a big difference

"My students actually want to write now"
I've been using Book Creator with my class the engagement is so much better than our usual writing tasks. Even my quieter students are adding pictures, recording their voices, and just keep working without me having to nudge them every 2 minutes. It's easy enough for them to figure out on their own too, which is a huge plus. Really happy with it so far.

"Felt left in the dark"
I was hoping this would work better for my language, but the options are really limited. I reached out to support expecting some guidance, but I didn’t get much help and kind of felt left in the dark. Overall, it just wasn’t a great fit for what I needed.
"I tried using Book Creator with Google..."
I tried using Book Creator with Google Classroom, it turned into a bit of a headache. Students couldn’t join easily, assignments weren’t showing up the way they should, and I kept having to resend links like it was somehow my job to fix the whole sync issue. Maybe it’s Google Classroom, maybe it’s Book Creator, but either way it made something simple feel way too complicated.

"Students still needed a lot of guidance"
Book Creator is fine overall, but something feels off with how easy it’s supposed to be for students to use on their own. I expected my class to jump in quickly, but they kept asking where things were and a few of the tools just weren’t that obvious to them.
It’s not a bad product, and we did get through the activity, but I ended up guiding them way more than I thought I would. For younger students especially, it felt like there was still a lot of hand holding needed
"Worth it for the accessibility features"
My dyslexic son uses the read-aloud feature and captions all the time, and it’s made his school projects so much easier to get through. these tools are really valuable for kids who need a little extra support

"Teams integration is useful, even if it takes a minute"
I’ve been using Book Creator with Microsoft Teams for my class, and overall it’s been decent. Once everyone is signed in and knows where to go, sharing books with students is straightforward enough, which I do appreciate.
The first setup was a little messy, though. A few students couldn’t get links to open properly from Teams, and I ended up having to resend things more than once. It also feels like there are a few extra clicks in places where it could be simpler.
That said, it gets the job done, and I can see the value in having everything connected. It’s not the smoothest integration ever, but it’s been useful in my classroom and I’d be happy to see it get a bit more polished.

Getting it set up was a bit confusing, and the login process really took longer than I expected
"This app runs like hot garbage"
This app has been a pain in the ass for me. It takes forever to load, keeps freezing at the worst times, and it’s already lost my work twice. Frustrating when you’re just trying to get something done and the thing acts like a useless brick...

"Easy to Trust and Full of Helpful Features"
I’ve used Book Creator for a few different class projects now, and it’s been a really dependable tool. It has more features than I first expected, but it doesn’t feel overwhelming. Adding audio, videos, links, drawings, and new pages is straightforward, and my students usually pick it up quickly on their own. A couple of the menus took me a little time to get used to, but overall it feels solid, easy to use, and reliable for classroom projects...

"Privacy feels solid. Nice."
I haven’t had any privacy concerns so far, which is reassuring. Everything feels secure and straightforward. Solid.

"Decent templates, but they messed up my plans"
The templates are fine overall, but a lot of them feel way too similar. I was hoping to quickly pick something unique and move on, but I ended up wasting time digging through options that all looked basically the same, which kind of threw off my plans

"Too limited if you want to get creative"
I tried using Book Creator for a small project, and I don’t know why, but I got frustrated with it quickly. It’s fine if you’re just putting together simple pages, but once I wanted to make it look a little more creative, everything felt way more limited than I expected.
I wish there was more freedom with layouts, fonts, and design choices. Moving things around felt clunky, and it kind of seemed like I was stuck working within their basic templates. For me, it’s not really worth it if you’re trying to make something that feels unique

"Finally, Some Peace of Mind"
Setting limits for my kid was easy, which felt like a small parenting miracle. I do wish a few of the settings were explained more clearly though, because I had a couple moments where I stared at the screen like it was a secret code. Overall, the safety controls are solid and definitely help me breathe a little easier.

"I used this for adding into my lessons..."
I used this for adding into my lessons, and overall it did the job just fine. The setup took me a bit longer than I expected, which was kind of annoying, but once it was going, it worked okay. The students seemed to enjoy it, so that helped make up for the clunky parts.

"works well, but browser choice matters"
it worked fine for me overall, but i did notice it seems a little picky depending on the browser. chrome gave me the smoothest experience, while safari was a bit glitchy here and there.

"I’ve been using this for class, and..."
I’ve been using this for class, and overall it does what I need it to do. The collaboration part is nice—when everyone’s on the same page, it works smoothly. But then, you know, one student shares the wrong link, another can’t figure out permissions, and suddenly we’re spending five minutes untangling who can see what. Not a huge deal, just something that gets a little messy in the middle of a lesson.

"Book Creator is fine overall, but the library..."
Book Creator is fine overall, but the library setup gets frustrating once you’ve made a lot of books. It starts feeling cluttered and I end up digging around way too much to find older projects. Folders help a bit, but moving things around still feels clunky. It works, just not great when your library starts filling up

"Kept glitching, and support felt like robots"
I tried using this on my Android tablet, but it kept glitching so much that I couldn’t even finish my book. I reached out about it, but the email replies felt like they were coming from robots just sending canned responses instead of actually helping. Frustrating experience overall.
"Pretty easy for my class to use"
My class picked this up quickly, which was nice because I didn’t have to spend a ton of time explaining it. It’s been helpful during lessons, anything that keeps things moving is a win. The kids seem comfortable with it, and I like having it as another tool to use.
